Queen Sirikit National Convention Center
This convention center is a place where international conferences, seminars, and other trade exhibitions are organized in Thailand. With its modern architecture, comprise of four modern multipurpose buildings under the same roof, and equipped with facilities that meet the international standards with the area of 65,000 square metres. Occupancy and able to provide services for more than 10,00 people.
Inside the center is decorated with Thai arts manufactured from all parts of the country. Nathi kan and withi Thai is produced from a hand-made weaved cloths, such as, Thai silk cloths, Weaved chintz cloths etc, and is displayed at the main entrance of the mini conference room in order to display Thai culture. Indra Phisek Royal Ceremony is a combination of low and high relief wooden sculpture depicting the legend of Indra (Hindu God).
It is displayed on the wall in the south to the security check area. Lo Kuttara is an outdoor sculpture in the form of flames, or petals of a lotus, or The Thai gesture of respect, The wai in which hands are pressed together, which is intended to symbolize prosperity. The Sala Thai (Thai Pavilion) is a wooden pavilion of five rooms, with beautiful Na Ban (Gable) on the top, Having Chofa (Roof Finials) in
mon-styled, and decorated in The pattern of phuttan flowers. In addition, there are a post office, banks, restaurants, travel and hotel services, a media room, medical centers, and a transportation counter are offered at the center for the public's convenience.
